The problem

A walk takes minutes. The record takes hours.

Every safety professional knows the gap. Spotting the hazard is the fast part. Writing it up, finding the governing citation, wording the correction, and getting it in front of the crew is what eats the afternoon.

So the write-up gets thinner as the day gets longer. Findings get generalized. Citations get remembered instead of verified. The record that was supposed to protect the company becomes the weakest thing in the file.

HazardEye exists to remove that tradeoff, without handing safety judgment to a machine.

What you get

A record you can hand to anyone.

  • A written report, area by area.

    Bring photographs, suggested findings and corrective actions into one report. Check accuracy and missing context before sharing it.

  • The rule, next to the finding.

    Findings include available source references for professional review and a recommended correction written for the crew rather than for a binder. Federal and state source coverage is being expanded and independently reviewed. Confirm supported coverage for your site before use.

  • A severity read you can act on.

    Findings are banded from stop-work down to minor, with a summary that states areas covered, total findings, and the highest single risk on the site that day.

  • Something a regulator can follow.

    Keep the observation and response understandable for the next reviewer. A report supports professional review; it does not guarantee regulatory or insurer acceptance.

  • And it says what it is.

    Every report ends with an explicit note that this is AI-assisted screening rather than a formal inspection, and that findings are verified in the field. The judgment stays with the safety professional. We are not interested in selling a tool that pretends otherwise.

Where it stands

In active development. Pre-commercial.

HazardEye is built and running. It is not yet generally available, and this page does not pretend otherwise. It is in use on real walks, it produces the reports described above, and it is being hardened toward controlled pilots with a small number of contractors.

Android phone capture and Meta glasses integration are implemented. Each pilot begins with testing on the exact supplied build and device. Project-document comparison and site-specific company rules are being validated separately.

The next layer connects inspection findings with project documents, including accident prevention programs and site-specific safety plans. Stricter company requirements must stay attached to their assigned site. Document comparison and rule extraction are undergoing validation; availability will be confirmed before your pilot.
